Hey I finally got my 408 stroker done, its a stroked up 351 W and I'm trying to hook it up to a T-5 with a late model bell housing. I need to know what plate to use that goes between the engine and tranny. I used one off of my old 289 but the large starter hole doesn't seem to be lining up. Any advice????

 

What year Mustang? I have a 408 (used the Eagle kit) in my 66.

It sounds like you have a 157 tooth flywheel and need the larger 164 tooth one. I'm assuming you'll need the 28oz imbalance variety (rather than later model 50oz).

I have the right fly wheel its a 28 oz imbalance and I'm using an Eagle stroker kit. Its all going in a 67 coupe. theres some pics on my myspace myspace.com/super__david I just need to know what plate I need in there.

I am doing the same thing with my 67. I had no trouble finding a new plate. Most of the mustang speciality catalogs have what you need. I got mine at Modern Drivelines

Thanks for the help, but I found one locally. I finally got the motor put in and I trailered it off to the exhaust shop today to have that built while I'm waiting for my distributor to come in.
