If you have power brakes you will have a booster inbetween your master cylinder and the firewall. It looks like a fat round disk w/a vacuum line coming from it. If you have power steering you will have a power steering pump. It is a round resevoire with a pulley attached to the front. If your car steers with ease you most likely have it.
what does a booster do? is it possible to convert manual brakes to power brakes by just adding a booster?..i want to get the grananda manual front disc kit from CSRP, what would i have to do to change the stock calipers to 4 piston calipers. Is it even possible?... sorry if thiese are stupid questions, but i dont know much about brakes....
power brakes just makes it easyer on you pushing the brake and does have more braking force unless you have a high powered car you dont have to but you can
trust me, yo uwould know if you have power discs. i have discs and altough they are much better than the drums you have to stomp on the brake pretty good to get it to stop.
