Man, you've done alot to that I6, i would have ripped it out, and thrown in a V8. That car should move though with a turbo. YOu'd get my stock 289.
if u have a 2brl 289 i may be able to stick right at ur door as it is now and prolly be past u if i can get an 9in with a lower gear

Poor a little oil on the floor and on the rear end. Then tell her its bust, She wont know the difference but she has proof, hell use tranny fluid or somthing, the sell the old wherever. just ask youself what a con-artist would do

that wont work my mom is pretty smart when it comes to cars and she has helped my dad build many a race car back in the day

move it out of the drivway, drain the gear oil then put it back where it was. let it sit a day or so then take her for a drive! shell be with you when it goes! if i would have done something like that when i was a young pup. my dad would have whipped my a??????? then let me walk a little!

now that might be an idea but i wont be able to do it till after i get my beater truck runnin cause as of now my 66 is my daily driver to and from school

and my moms boyfriend used to be a mechanic and hed probably be the one who would help me swap rears and i think he would notice there not bein any oil in the rear

id hate to tell u this cause ur an original fanatic but i have done plenty of changes too it in the modification area even seats that werent in a mustang and i do drive it like u recommended on a regular basis and the only one i gotta keep form doin in sight of is my moms

If you drain the oil pull the wheels and damage the seals that way it looks like thats where the oil went. Just put some oil on the brakes so it looks like they were leaking.
