Hypereutectic and Forged pistons
whats the difference between Hypereutectic and Forged pistons? will Hypereutectic be able to handle this? supercharger
Generally the hypereutectic piston which is an aluminum piston that has around 10% silicon added is brittle unlike the forged pistons, so is usually not advised to use them for performance engines.

Best advice is if you are using forced induction, go forged. The hypers and hypos are better than plain cast and they're great, but the forged have less of chance of coming apart in a fi setup. Don't take any chances.
