1969 Tach

Hey, My tach isn;t working, and I was wondering where to hook them up. It only has 2 wires. I think one goes to the coil and the other to ground. Does anybody know which color goes to what?

what color are the wires on your tach? red is usually hot, black or dark green are usually ground.

thats on a aftermarket tach! im not fortunate enough to have a factory tach cluster in this car to tell you the factory ford colors! there big bucks!

It's a factory tach. I will have to look at the wires later.
