I am in the process of sanding the paint off my car and i am woundering what grit sand paper would be best to strip the paint off with an electric sander then il go over it again with #400 grit fine paper

i would say between 60 and 80 wet sand paper.

 

what kinda electric sander? do u have rust repair? or just going for a repaint? is the paint bad might not need to strip it? if ur gonna take it to the metal get some air craft paint stripper and do one panel at a time. if u use papaer 80 grit on a dual action sander
