I guess this is going to be more common place now that these old Muscle cars ar becoming more popular.

eBay Item number: 320038694207

It's a die stamp set so you can add the VIN to fenders, etc. Not sure why you would do this unless you wanted to trick someone.

Numbers matching cars don't mean much to me, it's cool if you have the money I guess, but I don't.

The other resson would bew if you replace the apron on the car and want the vin in the right place

What makes these stamps mustang/ ford stamps. Arent they the same thing as any run of the mill 3/16 stamp?

i was thinking the same thing. i just used a set like that to mark my piston rods in my 302. i guess it's just a marketing ploy. they dont campaign cheese graters for their other talent, ruining sponges, because wont sell. thanks mitch hedberg.
