Trying to find out if anyone would know if I could get a pair of fake bolt on cats... So there I was talking to this guy and he basically said he runs a O/R pipe with fake cats !?!? Tried to find out where he got them from but ... blah, blah, blah... he wouldn't tell me... So I'm wondering if he was just talking smack or really had some...
Anyone know anything about these ???

The only thing I can figure.. is he hollowed them out. So that for inspection it looks like he has cats but there's nothing really inside them.. I did this with my truck. Dunno about over the counter versions of this though.

If you hollow out your cats weild a piece of pipe inside of them. They sound horrible if you just hollow them out and stick them on the car. Unless you like that sorta "tingy" sound in your exhaust. Then filter out the platinum, silver, and gold and sell it!
