Default Suspension

I have a couple questions regarding Suspension

1) Who runs 190lbs rear leafs would you recommend them on a street car? I like european style suspension so quite firm but is this too far (i carry a spare tire, jack axle stands and socket set and oil in the boot)?
2) Roller perches any recommedations for a street car
3) Who has koni's shocks and what do you have them set at ?
4) When changing the anti-sway bar to a thicker one is 1" good enough and will i need to have the alignment adjusted?
5) How to determine the alignment on a modified suspension what other than drivability is suitable?
6) Shock replacement on 65 is it easy for a person with limited experience?

This is my plan for my suspension

1) Monte carlo bar and Export brace.
2) Front anti-sway 1" with poly bushings (my tie rods are new with polys)
3) Koni shocks, (dutch registered car so I thought i would get the dutch shocks even if they are pricey)
4) New front springs 600lbs with Coil Spring Insulators (Black Polyurethane) stock ride height.
5) 190lb rear leafs with poly bushes new shackles
6) poly bushing on perchs/new perches

Cheers

Folks

1) Not sure what the actual rating is on my rear leaf springs. They are the replacement for the GT suspension.
How many leafs does the 190 lb have? More than 5 leafs? Probably too stiff. Other wise you should be fine.

2) Roller Spring perches are highly recommened for a street car

3) I have my Koni shocks set at 2 turns for the street, 3 at the track.
Your results many vary depending on coil springs used.

4) I run a 1 1/8" front sway bar. No need for an alignment after installation

5) Tire wear and how well the car tracks down the road will determine alignment specs.

6) Shock replacement is very easy. Its make even easier with roller spring perches as the roller perch doesn't bind.
You'll see the difference just in removing the original perch and installing the roller one.

recommend the aftermarket "ball joint" type adjustable strut rods as well. I installed these, and had the CASTER bumped up to 3 degrees, and it now drives like a dream - tracks straight and true and NO MORE WANDERING right and left. Steering wheel returns to center out of a turn better now (power steering). Highly recommend the mod. A little pricey, but after seeing the results it gave, I recommend it to all!!

ebluekeys is right, adjustable strut rods are definitely worth the $$$
Using a heim joint they help free up binding at the frount mount.
