Default 1100 Carb Question

Have been building a 3 1bbl carburation system for an I6 and have got it running. I'm having a problem with the carburator linkage between the accelerator rod and the carb throttle arm. I did check the Ford Six site and may have found one. The rods supplied by Offy have the throttle ball socket on each end that is internally spring loaded to hold the throttle ball in place. Problem is, any back pressure to shut carbs down they will stretch allowing carb to run over set idle. I used my original for the center carb and it does the job just fine. The rod ranges in size as it is threaded adjustment from about 3 1/2 inches to 5 and has external clips to hold throttle ball in socket. I've noticed a couple of post where some have converted from the six to the eight and was wondering if anyone still has the original threaded rod and would be willing to part with it. I'm currently needing two.
