ok for you that dont know i hit a semi in my 66. insurance is stiffing us! they want to give me 5,000 for it! the drivetrain is worth more then that! what do you think i can get for it without scrapin parts! alot of it most listed in my sig. my dad wont let me do the work to it, only thing broken engine wise is the radiator!... so how much you think i could get?

Once again I have to say Im sorry about your crash. That sucks esp. since they are screwing ya on the insurance...

You could rebuild the front end for les than 5k, Id do that...

 

get an appriasal(pre accident condition) from someone that deals in classic cars make sure they are a cetified appraiser(also is this 5000 and u keep the car? or 5 and they take it? ) u might be able to get them to pay otu 4500 and u keep the car then get another body

 

I'll second the appraisal. An appraiser can work with the wrecked car as well. They'll be able to give you the value of the car without the damage and can judge the paint based on what remains on the car.

 

alright ill have to see about the 5 i think they keep the car, im not giving my car to them! i know i would have it fixed but i dont have 5g to fix it then sell. so ill have to talk more to my dad but yeah ill prob go with an appraiser. thanks
