Default Is there a brake booster to master cylinder gasket???

Ok so my brake booster has been rebuilt, and I have a brand new master cylinder for my 1969 mach 1. Is it necessary to have a gasket in between the two surfaces? Just bolt it metal to metal? Or should I simply put a nice bead of blue-RTV silicon?

Any input is appreciated, I just got my license 30 minutes ago, and really want to get my car running SOON!

First and foremost,

Congratulations dude!!!! that's great. Another classic driving all Amercan on the road. Good for you!

OK, so no, there is no gasket needed between the MC and the booster. Just metal to metal.
Now be real **** about having exceptional brakes then go have some fun.

Thanks scott for the reply, I hope to get that in tomorrow! Once that brake booster is in, I can put in my heater THEN get the dash in. From there almost everything else is hooked up and ready to start! Just give me a week or two, and yes, I'll post video
