Default tachometer

hey, i have a 68, 302 and i decided to get a tacometer so i can see my rpm's because that seems to be just useful from time to time. I got this tach and i was gonan mount it liek behind the wheel on liek the wheel shaft or w.e you call the piece exending the wheel out, any suggestions, opinions, ty to all . heres the tacho http://www.sunpro.com/whats_new_detail.php?id=5

mine is mounted there but is smaller (between that one and the rallypac tach)
you have to get it just right or it blocks views of the other guages.

can you take the car to the shop and try it out? You know, just hold it in place to see how it will fit

That's a hell of a tach, especially if you only need it once in a while. There is a company in Australlia that makes a nice mini tach that goes in the clock position in the gauge cluster. I've got one and it works great. I found mine on ebay... just search for 68 mustang tach.
