Aluminum blocks...?
Just a question out of curiousty, Is a aluminum block as strong as a iron one?

Which aluminum block are you talking about?
Some are stronger!
Cobra Jets were cast iron.
The GT40 block is very strong.
The Dart replacement SBF block is stronger than a stock 302 block, and not as strong as their HD iron block version.

the terminator cobra went back to an iron block compared to the non term cobras

the old ac cobras had a iron block they didnt get a alum one tell a few years ago when shelby started making them since a fe block was hard to find

The problem with aluminum blocks is they espan and contract to much for a daily driver
