I lived in a little German town just off the flight line at Spangdahlem, and when those 16's took off, they turned on the afterburners right over my house. Drove me batty. I always welcomed the wart hogs when they took off. Much quieter.

Thanks everyone for their replies (good or bad). But I think I,m gonna give it a shot. Going today to look at 76 granada for the swap without the original engine figured I would go ahead and put a v8 in it. as for pics I will post some latter maybe this weekend. I can tell u it need complete floor pans, rockers, front and rear frame rails, trunk lid, drivers door, trunk floor. I think i can save the fenders, hood, rear quarters and pass door. Ihave a guy that restores mustangs (K S Mustangs) about ten minutes from my house he said if I buy parts I'm looking at 4000 in labor. I bought the car knowing that it needed 10000-15000 in it maybe more. I did not buy to build and resale I bought because its 67 mustang vert and if I restore I dont think I would ever sale. I just have some nay sayers (family members) that are making me have second thoughts. But anyways thanks everyone for their replies.

im sorry to say i couldnt read all these posts, but ya, if you rally want to do it, you can restore this car. 12000 sounds fair in total parts and labor, thats what I was expecting for mine. But ya, basically every inch of these cars can be bought online and through catalogs. So good luck and know were here for you questions.
