Default would u restore this car?

I purchased a 1967 convertible. The car originally was an I6(engine did not come with the car) Don't havaany good pics to post but I can tell u the car need floor pans from toe boards to under rear seat, front and rear frame rails, needs all for trunk floor, all front fender aprons, cowl vent needs repair. pretty much whole under neath of car torque boxes and all, lets just say70% -80 % of sheet metal needs replacing. I have a catlog from NPD and was adding up all those parts and I'm figuring $7000 -8000 dollars in sheet metal thats not counting electrical, engine ,interior etc. Was just wanting some opinons would any body here restore this car? or should I just try and sale it. Really sucks I paid 900 for it and once I got it home and was figuring the scope of the job and all that rust just don't know if its worth all that. Any opinions are appreiciated .

Basically,.you screwed by buying that rust bucket in the first place. Cut your losses and sell it to another fool.

how much did you buy it for? how experienced are you? are you gonna keep it? all questions that need to be answered.......

i picked my stang up for 2800 and it has only one damaged rear quarterpanel, so im sure you could find something for less than 8000, that is in a lot better shape.................

I know what a mistake. If I sell I dont even know whats its worth. I talked to 2 guys that restore mustang for a living and both told me that a vert is well worth 900 no mater the shape so i bought it. I paid 900 I have some exp. I.m a fast learner have worked on cars plent of times but nothing like this. I Dont know if i will keep.

think it is worth 900.00 whole? or maybe 900 if I parted out? other than all the rusted crap the car is complete minus drivers door and engine

well, you could sell it straight up- but i doubt youd get a full return with no engine and the shape its in.........but if you parted out wisely, on ebay, and spiffed some things up(painted-derusted) you could probably make a full return, then buy a decent stang..............
