Date Code Help!!

I need some help with the date code on my 69 Mach 1 . the code says 22G! Also the production # is 192,465. But I didnt think they made that many? Need help! Rookie Stanger

I believe production numbers for each year start at 100,000. 22G I believe is 22 July.

If 22G is 22 of July, that must mean july 1969 and by August werent they building 70's versions??

According to the Mustang RedBook, they only made 72,458 Mach 1's in 1969. Which engine does yours have? I bet she is beautiful.
