Default A couple quick questions....

1. What was painted/not painted on the inside door of a 66 mustang origianlly?

2. Is there a plastic cover for the light inside the glove box,or is the light just behind some thin white paper ?

3. What volt light/number/size bulb fits the transmission light (to light up P R N D 1)?
The socket that I have for the bulb, has "male" prongs, like the ones for dash board light, but I cant find a place/hole to stick it in to light up the transmission gears...any pixs or advise...

4. Does a 66 have Emergency Flashers (hazzards)-in the owners manual it says the switch is in the glove box...cant find one there or on the steering column.....in the fuse diagram it has the lighter and the flashers on the same curcuit.

5.Last question..If I need to "replace bushings" on a stock suspension....how hard is this job....I heard energy suspension makes great bushings...true? To replace all the bushings up front both sides.....how many bushings total...

Thanks Scott

I'm working on front end right now. Not difficult to replace everything but time consuming especially if cleaning and painting as well. If you have factory coils still you have to get a puller. Energy does make good bushings. You need quite a few for the:
Lower control arm
idler arm
strut rod
stabilizer bar
perches (saddles)

You would also want to get new dust boots for tie rods and new spring insulator.
Don't forget the rear.

No paint, just some overspray.

2. Is there a plastic cover for the light inside the glove box,or is the light just behind some thin white paper ? very thin piece of plastic.

3. What volt light/number/size bulb fits the transmission light (to light up P R N D 1)?
