Default Morris Code

I pulled the stearing wheel this weekend to change it (and whatever else is there up untill I got to the turn signal switch contraption) Anyways, I turned the key on to check my hazard lights (they don't work) and the shifter light started blinking in a pattern. I had no clue cars back then gave codes. I don't want to put the new stearing wheel on if I need to do something to correct the morris code of if puting the wheel on will correct it. Any ideas? I hope it's not saying 'KILL ME.' Thanks again gang, Scott

Well, first of all the man who invented the code was named Morse. You probably don't have the turn signal grounded as with the wheel on.

At least he wasn't "morose" about it.
