trunk locked!

Respectfully, no drilling required. Once you get the trunk open and room to work, you just have to remove the retaining clip at the back of the lock cylinder and instal new cylinder.

so the retaning clip? what does it look like bc i was in the trunk for quite a while and didnt find anyway except drilling out the screws so a little more info on that clip would save me sum time.

The clip is on the inside right at the cack of the tumbler. There is a lip on the tumbler so that when you inset it into the hole, you then slide the clip in and it hold the tumbler. It is on the tumber, right up against the back of teh taillight panel. Just slide it out to the side. You may have to tap it a little with a hammer and screwdriver.

that will get the cylinder out, but the latch will remain. You can then use a large flat bladed screwdriver to open the trunk. There is a shaft on the back of the cylinder that operates the latch. Do you need pics?
