If you take out the back seat and get in their, you should be able to mess with the mechanism to get it up, screwdriver my help.... i know you can on a chevy and the locks look like the same principle

You've got two bolts that hold it on. Unscrew those then take it out from the outside.

HA just had to get into a locked trunk on mine. Just pull the backseat take the two bolts out that hold the lock down and walla, Open Trunk.
Or get a sawzall [sm=bustedsign.gif]

Get in through the backseat (you may trash your fiberboard trunk divider if you're not careful) and bring a screwdriver and needle nosed pliers. The Mustang did have an accessory remote trunk release latch option (not sure if it was dealer installed only). Anyway, the cable attached to the latch and pulled a little lever to the side. When you see it you should recognize it.

Through the back seat, unbolt bracket on trunk lid. I think they are 1/2 inch bolts, only two. Lid opens and no finagling while stuck in the trunk. I am sure you will find it an uncomfortable yoga-type exercise, watch out for cramps.

well that pretty much sums it up..lol. Is that enough people for a consensus on getting it open with no keys?

Nope...I like the DeWalt drill method. Works on doors, too.

Or, buy enough old police cars until you get the master lock kits for each car...though I wouldn't know if that really works and if such master sets really exist.[sm=icon_quiet.gif]
