C4 Tranny?
I recently purchased a 65 convertible with a 302 supposedly bolted to a C4. Does the dipstick tube on a C4 enter the transmission through the side of the pan?
Thanks for the help

NO, it enters just above the pan on the side of the transmission case.

Thanks for the info 65_2plus2.
But my tranny has the dip stick tube entering the side of the pan. Is this a home job or what?

Thanks for the info.
Is there any web sites or parts dealers which I can go to for gaskets, etc?
I use restoremustang.com, but they do not have any pans, gaskets, etc for this version.
Thanks
