Take a windsor... put cleveland heads on it... or might as well just buy a excellent pair of new aftermarket heads on it. Thats better then a cleveland. Cleveland blocks suck, while windsor blocks are good. Windsor heads suck, while cleveland heads are great. With todays technology, aftermarket heads should be better.

does anyone know where I can find a 302 cobra jet for a 72 mustang around dayton ohio, I will travel if need be.
You looking for a complete engine or just block & heads? I may have a line on one here. The Clev is a great choice and will deliver great power. Unless you want to run it past 7k, you don't need to be concerned about oiling. If you run it higher than 7k, then simple galley restricters is all ya need. Very simple to install when building the block. Several on here have made strokers out of them and made them even more lethal to lesser combos.

I can get you more info after this weekend. I'm going to a Ford Swap Meet so I'll see what I have available.

Right now I have a complete 351c with 4bolt mains & OC heads. I'm looking at making a 408 stroker out of that but I may decide to just get a pair of Ossie CC heads for my 2v Clev and just build that one that's in the car now. The 4-bolt engine is still at the machine shop waiting for a decision from me. All of the parts are there for it except the carb. and the air cleaner. The heads, intake, and block have been tanked and the heads pressure tested ok.

I'm located up I-75 near Toledo.
