what else is done on your motor. I it's still close to stock you will get better performance out of a set of Windsor JR.

I'm looking at a set of the 180cc heads myself. They'll work pretty good for most mild engines at sea level. Get the 200cc heads if you plan to get a little more wild with your cam choice.

i get either one for same price but the cam might have to wait money is tight but i need heads and the cost to get mine fixed or to get remans is more expensive than getting these heads believe it or not so i might stick with the bigger head and just tough it out until i can afford to do a cam in it what problems would i have with the 200cc head and a stock cam

If you are going with mild stuff (like less than .500 lift cam) I would go with 185cc heads at MOST. GT-40s will most likely get you the best results. If 6500 rpm is not a constant happening for you, the gt-40 heads will by far give you the best mix of low end grunt while still vastly improving the top end on a mild engine. They also offer room to be ported later on if you choose to go bigger and feel the heads are a restriction.

ya but if i get gt40 then get them milled down to less than 60cc comustion chamber i will have spent way more than i can afford but the opotunity presents itself to get these heads and i will be getting such a good deal that i might sacrifice a little and just get the 200cc heads and deal with it or i can get the 180cc heads but what would i experience with the larger amount of flow on my mostly stock 289 cause look i can get remaned heads at work for 230 or i can get the world heads less than 200 bare or 249 assembled plus discount thats why i want to take advantage of this opportunity and i wana know the cons of the bigger flow but no one has answered that

The problem is we can only answer from experience. I ran dart JR on a 12sec motor in an 89 5.0 . Swaped them out for a set of SR and my torque on the low end went down. I picked up at the top end but man was it a dog on the street. Dart JR are made for a street/strip aplication where SR are more strip (lots of high rpms). So...bigger is not alwas bigger. You need to sit down and form a plane of where you want to be for HP (realistic) and how much money you can spend and start from there.
