i have a few questions. the mustang i got came with a i6 but i was also given a 429 when i bought it. would i be able to somehow make it fit? i heard the 428 can fit but im not sure about the 429. and i might end up selling it so i was wondering what a good price for a 429 would be? thank you

if its a 429 like a 385 series engine then yes it will fit but you need to do alot of work and second is the mustang an original i6 then you need alot more like suspension work too

could u imagine a 429 dropped into a I-6 setup???

i can picture sparks spewing out the back from the mufflers dragging on the ground and the rear end exploding leaving pieces strewn all down the street......and when you reach the corner the front wheels just falling off and u come to a skidding stop......

ok not that bad but still....

As long as it does not have the Boss 429 heads...which it doesn't because it was just given away, the motor will also install easily in a 67/8 mustang (meaning no metal modification to the car).
For the 65/6 you have to remove the shock towers.

But what year is your car? It would help to know that.

In bolted in the 68 coupe we owned many years ago.

Just need the v8 suspension, you can add the heavier springs for the 390 big block setup if you are rebuilding the suspension. They also offer the shock tower reinforcing metal bracket at the bottom of the tower if you like.
