well ive owned my 69 for 2 months here and after joy riding for 2 months decided to get down to work mechanically car is awesome its a 351 4v ive put some quality time into already, and otherwise so far ive stripped the interior, ground down the welds where previous owner used a brazing rod with an acetylene torch to weld in floor pans which i still cant figure out, rewelded those, and im getting to the gauges and wiring, well my parking lights and front valance are long gone, but when i turn the light switch to parking lights my gauge lights come on but when driving lights are selected no gauge lights, previous owner tried a mach 1 conversion and just messed up the wiring and i know painless just came out with a new harness but im a poor college kid, so any wiring tips i mean could i get a wiring diagram and do a reasonable job of replacing what needs to be replaced or am i out of my leauge, also i am taking out my radio and heater, but the water pump runs 2 lines through the heater core is there a way to bypass this or am i going to have to fork over for a specialty waterpump...thanks guys
