ok i have a 71 mustang grande. I was wondering if anyone knows what the paint on it should look like.
Ive looked at all the pics that I can find and they all seem to be one color. I like the mach1 paint better and may go with a veration of that but for as long as ive known the car i have it had pin strips on the sides. I was wonding if anyone knows it that was an extra or some verant. I'm guessing it was something added after or maybe a repaint but from what I know it was not painted untill 95 i think and the car had the pin stripes before that

I hear racing stripes make it faster

Thanks I'll check this out once I get a chance. I know its supose to be Bright Red but ill double check just to make sure now I think I will stay away from the vinyl top though.

Keep the vinyl and go for a custom color. The Grande is really a rare package and it does look good with the top if you get the colors right.
