Flex line as in braided steel? That would be so expensive to do the entire car like that...

I know they make a rubber line that is strictly for fuel. I had to buy it when running my line from the pump to the carb on my chevy. Can't remember for the life of me how much it cost but it sure would be a hell of alot easier, then just get some clamps and sheet metal screws and that could hold it in place. Something to think about

Yeah, you need to specify fuel line rubber hoses when you order it. Gas eats up just any old rubber tubing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but having a fuel line hose running from the tank to the front would be prone to vacume colllapse at some point?

I bought a mustang restoration book today at borders and it says the brake and fuel lines run down the transmission tunnel. Seems simple enough, its a straight shot and being in the tunnel it wont have to be perfect. I'm gonna give it a try tomorrow. Gonna see what kinda rubber hoses i can find tomorrow too.

I HAVE BRAKES! Ok, so the damn lines cost me 50 bucks.... coulda probably just bought bent ones for that much. I was suprised it was much much easier than i expected. Brought the lines down from the box, around the frame rail, into the trans tunnel and down to the flex hose. Got the line from the wheel cylinders to the block and bled the brakes. All took about an hour and half.

Fuel lines tomorrow, and hopefully she'll roll on thursday!

Ahh if i was a drinker i just might hold ya to that!

btw... the lines going from the wheel cylinders to the flex hose blox are 3/16. The line going from the other end of the flex hose all the way up to the proportion valve is 1/4. I BELIEVE the fuel line is 5/16.... we'll find out tomorrow

radiator, hoses, fluid, tranny line, and tranny fluid, gas pedal, shifter linkage, carb linkage, and wiring and this beast is gonna cruise down my street... full mustang day tomorrow!
