dumb dumb dumb, there goes the business side of things... "lets make a wagon, the dodge magnum did okay, oh and the charger has four doors cause dodge was to lazy to make a new car, they just used the 300 and they are making money. Maybe we should too, oh and while we're at it why don't we drop in a 4 banger for all those ricers out there..."
aye caramba!

I think its actually a pretty good idea, much to the chagrin of many here. However, it would be better as a Mercury or Lincoln. I would have to agree that a quote on quote "Mustang Wagon" just wouldnt sell. But that doesnt mean that a Lincoln Zephyr wagon built directly on the Mustang platform wouldnt sell. (I know the zephyr is already on its own platform, im just using it as an example). I dont have any sales number to back up what Im saying, but my (possibly twisted) logic says that a guy who needs a family car, but wants a sports car is right at home with the Magnum R/T (hemi). Not to mention with the introduction of the Charger cop edition, and the demise of the venerable Crown Vic leaves the cop market wide open to Chrysler. Think about it- 200hp (maybe?) Ford on a dated luxury car chassis, versus 345hp on a eurpean derived chassis. Not much of a comparison there. I live in Ford country and even here the Chryslers are quickly gaining popularity among the local police forces.

+1, as long as it's not called a mustang it really wouldn't be a bad idea. it would make a good business move

I would buy the Magnum, but only cause I wanted it before most people knew it was coming out. I wanted it when it was going to be offered with a 5 speed. [8D]

I def agree, the charger is a POS and Chrysler didn't even try. I'm glad they did with the Challenger. Now THAT is a good looking retro muscle car (not that the stang isn't).

Someone's posted pics of the stang limo before. I like yours tho, it's better than the others. Thing looks like it is sagging worse than parts of my grandma. [:'(]

Exactly! It didn't work in the 60's when the car was new, it WON'T go over really well now that it's an established vehicle with a HUGE following!

I agree that a cool sporty wagon might be marketable but as a Falcon, Torino or somthing.
I saw a cool station wagon at the MCA 30th...
