I got my rear and front suspension parts for 677 bucks, so it was well worth it. That is, with larger sway bars, KYB shocks, mideye leafs and 1" drop 620's, etc.

www.laurelmountainmustang.com ... its actually 749.00 but i deleted the steering

if you're going to replace some of it why not go ahead and replace all of those 40 year old suspension parts?? you may not need to replace it NOW but you will eventually, and do you really want to do the work twice?

i dont want to do the work twice.....but if there's nothing wrong with it, why replace it....

i just dont know which parts are more prone to wear out.

well you could start out with the grab-a-trak kits that cover the rear + new shocks + 620 coils + sway bars on both ends, and you'll have a new feeling ride plus a meaner stance, you can even pick the rear ride hight, I believe the 620s lower the front an inch. Then when you need to replace the front end stuff get that kit, then when you're steering starts to give, get the steering rebuild kit (unless you WANT R&P)..in the long run kits will save you money.
