don't paint the stripes over the bumper...that looks tacky....I would say go chrome.

id go chrome with no bumper bolts showing or go with a shelby front end with no bumper

chrome. I agree with mojoe, if you go fiberglass don't paint stripes over it.

Stripes on a bumper doesn't look right. A little bit of chrome will do a good job of complimenting the rest of the car. I don't understand the point of painting it chrome either. If you're going to do that just save the money and buy an actual chrome bumper. It's not like there is that much of a weight difference and it will look better.
