Is that sport seat foam really soft? My *** gets a little tired after a few hundred miles. That's about the time I stop to get gas anyway, but I would like the seat to be a tad softer.

I suppose it'll losen up after time. it's pretty firm right now. It's a hell of alot more comfortable than the original style foam. It felt like I was sitting on the frame before. I actually have to lean my seat back a little further now because the foam is so thick my head hits the headliner, lol.

Is that parchment or palomino? Some of the pics look parchment, and some look palomino. Also, is that a gray carpet? That's a strange combination of colors if it is. Not bad, just different.

Parchment and Black. The sun was just right to make everything look weird. That and I couldn't realy get in a good position to take pics.

I sanded the dash, doors and rear qtr pnls and painted them a glossy black as well. The Package tray was covered with a trunk material ( so says the stereo shop ) that's suppose to be fade/weather resistant and is black as well.

Hey Bulldog, nice job

is that a small tach on the steering column?
if yes, what brand and how'd you mount it?
can you take a little closer pic of it?

thanks

It's a Sun Pro tach. If I'm not mistaken by the small hints from my dad, he sent an Auto Meter tach in the mail this week calling it his little addition to the job. Right now I just have real thick black wire ties holding it. I don't want to scratch the colum and that's the only thing I could think of to mount it with. This lets me take it off quickly if I need to and it's secure as well.

If I read my dad right and he sent the tach to me, I'll have to decide on where to put it. I like it on the colum and out of the way, so that's most likely where it will end up. I just don't know what size he got. I hope it's not one of those dinner plate sized tachs with a shift light and all. I'd hate to be a pisser and send it back or take it back for another. But he's just got to understand
