I can't seem to find a source to replace the under dash wiring harness for 64 1/2 260 with a generator. Before you answer - I don't want to switch to an alternator - in my opinion that is one of the things that makes this car unique. Anyone know if a source?

 

hi there, welcome to the site. im kind of bumping your post here cuz I cant give you a good answer and i dont want your post to slip away. National Parts Depot and www.aapd.net are two great parts stores which might have what you need. I'm currently re-wiring my car, and I'm at the point where I just dont care about harnesses anymore, I'm jerry-rigging a lot and I'm very close to doing the same on my alt too. Look up some wiring diagrams, I have a nice lil book I got from Advance Auto with most of the wiring diagrams.Good luck on the hunt.
