Default Brakes

I want to convert my 66 from a single zone master cyl to a dual zone. I have the master cyl that I want to use. What other hardware do I need? Is there a valve that I need? And where would get it? Thanks

You'll probably need a new master cylinder push-rod, distribution block, proportioning valve, some steel line, fittings, and a tubing double-flare kit. Most of the Mustang parts houses like CJ Pony Parts, Laurel Mountain Mustang, etc... will have what you need. Good luck, it's not that difficult. Most of the front-disc conversion kits come with all you will need, might be a good time to make the jump...!

It sounds like you are just changing from a single to a double MC and not necessarilly to a disc brake conversion. You will need a proportioning valve along with the new MC.

You need a repair manual. This sort of repair/replacement is probably covered in the basic Haynes/Chiltons repair manual (~$20)or you could get the Shop Manual (~$40) for your car.
