Hey guys, this is not my car. However,when I bought my 67 it had the same chrome trim around the side vents. Anyone ever seen them before? Do you know if they were dealer? JC Whitney?

Also, what do you think of them (mine are in much better shape). Unfortunatley,there are three mounting holes drilled for them, so I etiher leave them on or fill the holes.

Opinions please...

 

Don't know if they were a real option but I've seen them on 67s, ehh I don't like em.

 

I'd fill the holes but if you find out they were a dealer option and you want your car original then it might make kind of a cool conversation piece.

 

If by cool you mean ugly...[j/k]! Like I said imho they are fugly

 

If that were my car (I konw its not yours) those big chunks of chrome would be the last of my worries :S

Personally I'd leave them on. It would be less work since I would replace the qaurter skin anyway and I would be sure that they werent put on the new skin. But thats what makes this hobby fun everyone doesnt have to agree.
