Default 429 Identification

A friend of mine just picked up an 429 for a cobra kit car he is going to build. We are trying to find the specs on the engine. The casting number is D1VE-A2B. Heres what i have

D=70's Decade
1= 71
V=:Lincoln
E=Engine

I know you have to look at the crank to identify if its a 429 or a 460.
Any idea what the A2B might be?
What is the horsepower rating on these engines?

IIRC, 429 2v's were rated at 320hp and 4v's at 360hp. I could be mistaken but I don't think the 429 was used in Lincoln's from 68 or so to the mid seventies. I think what your friend has is a 460.

All you need to do is check the stroke 3.59 is a 429, 3.85 is a 460.
