Default RE: Engine Swap

How fast do you want it to be? How much do you have to spend? What is your skill level? Some people cant pull off a swap, to others its just another day of swapping stuff. Some people think they want a 10 second daily driver, but a 14 second car would scare the pants off them. Few of us have the money to do what we really want.

If you want the V8 sound, and you already have the car, all you need is parts.. lol. A donor is always a good thing, but if you find a V8 with less rust, the 6er might end up the parts car. Or you could have a 6 and an 8 to play with..

ORIGINAL: rustycoupe

don't do it. I tried throwing a 302 into my 65 i6 coupe and it was a disaster. we're selling it next week for parts cuz it was too rusted and not worht it. we just picked up an original 289 car which will be a lot easier and financially sound
that just means you had a bad car to begin with. had nothing to do with the engine swap.[/blockquote]
