I patched some holes in my door with some sheet metal i cut out of a newer pontiac car my question is there are some holes in the metal where i did not fill in the patch itself is strong i put body filler over the weld and holes will the filler in the door eventually crack and break under the paint?

 

most likely it will u should of welded the holes or at least glasses them.keep your fingers crossed

 

grind it out and weld the metal up together, body filler will absorb water leading to rust(which was what ur trying to fix!) which in turn will cause it to crack
