Default Power steering pulley

Is there a secret to getting this thing off the pump? Like turn the hex socket clockwise or something? And how do you stop the pully from turning as i turn the wrench? Thanks

Rent the Power steering pump puller at any AutoZone. $40 that is refundable on return of the tool.
