Default update on the Mach

hey guys, although I really havent been posting alot, I've been on and reading, I just havent had any answers I guess. But i thought I'd let you all know whats going on in my neck of the woods. I've been spending my winter break from school doing some work on the car. lol, my mom says I have to spend 4hrs a day on it cuz she wants her garage back. So starting yesterday I've been in overdrive on it. I tried to get my exhaust in but the tailpipes dont fit cuz the traction bar mounts are in the way, so I had to cut those out. I broke one of my cutting blades on the grinder and when I went to change the blade, i almost cut my thumb off. My mind was on my gf cuz she's kind of got me a lil angry leaving me during New Years at the last minute...but anyway, I figured after slicing my thumb I'd call it a night. Personal rule, when I get sloppy I call it quits to prevent more ouchies. Then today, I got some more cutting blades and hacked those mounts off. I was trying to install the radiator and then found another nice problem. Since the car was a racecar before i bought it, the guy hit a wall and bent up the frame a lil bit. So the radiator doesnt go down far enough to reach the mounting holes. I was going to bend it back down, but my torch is out of gas. So tomorrow I'm off to find some propane for the torch. And then I have a whole list of small and large things to do before she'll actually run:

connect heater and radiator hoses
install fender and valence
install clutch cable
install dash
install steering column and wheel
cut and install driveshaft

lol, yep. long week, i'll keep you all updated

Default RE: update on the Mach

Sounds like you have your work cut out for ya.

Just look at it this way - no GF = more money for the ride + when ride is complete = more time for a new, hot GF = you win.
