Default 68 Strut Rods on 67?

Before I place a bid on strut rods, I'd like to make sure the 68 assembly will bolt up toa 67 body. Thanks all!

Great!

While Im at it, I just had a little question out of curiousity. Is there any purpose to that piece of the rod that bends straight up? It's right after the bolts where it bolts to the LCA I believe. Heres a small picture for you to see...

Not true, the 67 and 68 strut rods are different.

The bent up piece is a steering stop. The 67 has the same rods as a 65-6.

You can use 68 strut rods on a '67 but you will also need '68 lower control arms.

I could use some 67 strut rods... Since the Cougar had a bushing on the control arm end and nobody makes that rubber bushing. It would be nice to not have to resort to a 68 LCA..
