Definately "S" code restoration then...(expecially since itis a 4 speed car...)

Kevin Marti has 3 levels of info that you can order for history on the car. Most of it you can gleen from Mustang resto books or the internet so the lowest option is pretty useless. I bought the mid level report as it has some info about paint & other stuff. Don't think I'd do the toplevel one unless I had a BOSS or something like that. I also had him fax me a request form that I filled out but basically was requesting "How many cars in 1968 were like mine?" - he charges by the hour for research questionsbut total cost for mine was about $85 - to me, well worth the info.

If you car was complete then I'd take advantage of that fact and keep it original. At anytime you can convert your car to a type of resto-mod but not all resto-mod cars can easily become original again.

What were the specs on your car? Exterior color / interior color / what year is the car?

BTW James - I almost had flashback convulsions when I saw that 70's look-a-like Mach I. There was a guy in thetown I grew up in who had one just like that.

You asking about the white 65 or the red Mach 1?

I don't know who's Mach 1 that is..... I just found it and hit you with it for the shock value....

Definately "S" Code! I can see the value of the "Elenore" clones going down with the number of ones being built going up.I love the look but they are popping up all over.

Sharp color combos on your S code. If it were some REALLY dorky color combo that didn't work then I would change something about that. But I'd still keep the mechanical stuff original as possible.
