I know how everyone likes pictures so here are a few from my weekend.
Didn't get as much done as I would have liked! After I pulled the cowl and vacuumed up the foliage I noticed that the cowl cover needed some attention. The patches were made with sheet metal from Home Depot. It served it's purpose. I used the Oxy for the welding. I still need to do some triming and grinding.
At the end of the day I discovered that there were some pinholes in the center of the cowl and the metal was very thin. I'll have to cut it out and patch it.
