ya that reminds me of a dumb movie i saw called fast and furious tokyo drift and always remember you work on your car they have daddys money work on their car my girlfriends uncle just got a sweet maserati and i had to hear her cousins call my car crap cause the motor is on the stand and i laughed and said atleast its not $600 every time i need an oil change and my car doesn't have the front end of an aston martin with a ferrari engine in it (i do admit though that motor sounded nice) i just say this to them if you don't like turn your head or close your eyes and if you don't do that and you keep bitchin i'll shut your eyes for you or turn your head

kids these days, especially in my area where some have 1+ million dollar homes, these kids don't see through the worn paint until you get a full restoration. then they say, oh well it hasn't got tiptronic, i could beat you with my modena. yeah well, for how long, and i bet you can't even drive it right, wait till you have to service that piece of italian ****, my mustang will last me another 200,000 miles. most kids are idiots, just deal with them. even worse are the ******** at car shows who pick apart your car and say to you what's not accurate, I bet their car is a piece of crap.

Dont worry dude. My car is better then yours, and i still get jackasses telling me my car is a piece of crap. People are such idiots where i go to school, it's really about to **** me off. Whats sad about it is, my car is worth more then most of the junk they drive. and has more style. Plus, i have 8 more cars i can drive. The moral of all this ranting. haha yeah, i like the maserati's myself actually, but i could never smell my own **** enough to have one. those kids may be rich, but they are bloody useless. that movie has given me some crazy ideas though, skyline engine in an old fastback, lol, that would actually be pretty cool but i would probably have to take cover from the purists.

I prefer to use the term cosmetically challenged to describe my cars. The ricer kits are ugly and a poor fascimilie of something the pos they are attached to will never be. 
Rich kids who think they have some uber fast car annoy me. People at car shows who want to try to impress people but have no real knowledge annoy me more. People on car forums who give bad advice and spread idiotic crap around the net untill it becomes a huge multi headed hydra like monster that needs to be vanquished really annoy me.
Bring on the McLaren F1 and we can line them up for a 1/4 mile if they want. They will see an ugly old 79 Formula's tail lights for the entire run. Or whatever car they think is awesome, like a silly skyline. I dont care. A little more time and some projects done and there will be a car that turns better than 1.2g latteral too.. its in the works and wont cost me more than my house to build.
If you want inspiration and a comfortable feeling that you arent starting with the ultimate piece of shyte, well then I can help you out. 1st it isnt imported with a fart can, towel rack, and the incredible power generated from two hamsters, a chinchilla, and a guniea pig on crank. 2nd it isnt a certain $20, 1971 fastback that has earned the moniker "pit of despair" and nightmare, due mainly to seeing rust form when I close my eyes each night. For your perusal I offer these for your endorsement and comfort...

This is what the mustang looks like now, and also some pics of the 67 Cougar I bought back in 83 and havent driven since 87, it too is getting a ground up rebuild.. It was my first car. Just primered the engine bay and front suspension area. It only takes time man..well time and money, and some skills that can be learned.. Ignore the idiot kids who dont get it, they never will. There is an editorial in HOTROD magazine this month on that very subject.. check it out.

theres always these two boys that always talk crap when i get around them. How my car is slow, and how his jeep and his colorado could beat it. Then the idiot who drives the Colorado said he's got 185 HP at the wheels. I looked up his truck and he's got 175 at the engine.... he thinks his truck could beat me, while actually i would eat him up. I have 100 more pounds of torque.

Great responses, love the pics. Don't get me wrong, I love my 67 and I can even see what it will look like when it's done. Thanks to alot of you here. My family has a herd of stangs. My 25 year old daughter has a 98 V6, my other 25 year old daughter had a 99 V6, gave it to me and I traded it for my 04. My 22 year old daughter has an 06 pony. My nephew has a 83 GT in my yard and I have my two, 67 Coupe and 04 Mach 1. Maybe my yard should be a ranch. Mustang parking only. Thanks again all.

No Mustang is ugly unless its been riced up. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, not everyone likes mustangs and it has nothing to do with how rich the kids are, poor kids dont have better taste in cars.
If they dont like it thats fine, whats important is you like it ofcourse its nice to be complimented but one has to accept that others wont like it.
Its obvious to us that the classic mustang is one of the coolest cars out there, but some just dont get it...
Modena is a Ferrari 360 (not their best work, I like the 355), triptonic is a formula one inspired gear shift system that has paddles behind the wheel.
Maserati quatraporte is a stunning machine as are all the aston martins. These cars arent in competition with the mustang, you cant say one is better than the other they are all fine cars and have different appeals.
Having said that, Im no liberal. Ill argue to the death with people to correct their warped and incorrect views (just dont let it get to you), I consider myself quite the authority on the design of cars, drawing them since the day I was born and possibly going to study car design in Italy.
