1) what is your engine setup currently? aftermarket higher lift cam?
2) what is your current idle rpm?
3) What is your rear end gear ratio?
4) What size exhaust tubing are you running currently and
5) Is your current setup: too loud or too quiet?
6) What comination are you looking for? Aggressive sound with moderate to high exterior noise with comfortable to moderate interior noise
OR
Aggressive sound with loud exterior noise with moderate to loud interior noise?

1) Engine is stock
2) Idle is 1000 RPM
3) I'm not sure about the gears though, just acquired the car in August and parked it in October for the winter. Gonna have my friend check that out in the spring. She does seem to rev a little high though.
4) Pipes are 2 1/2"
5) Too quiet...can barely hear the car running and very little growl when u punch it.
6) Option #1

Given your engine is stock, I would recommend going with the magnaflows only because they will provide a little bit more of a tuned sound than the flows. Flowmasters sound really good on an engine that gives them reason to be obnoxiously loud (i.e. cam with a lopey idle, head work, headers, etc...) BUT if the engine is stock, flowmasters can sound a little flat. I think you'll be happier with the magnaflows.

I was leaning that way from the start, but it's hard if you can't hear them and have little knowledge about them. You seem to really know your stuff and nice freakin' ride! Magnaflows it is.
Thanks very much.

One more question...
If I changed the headers would it make a difference at all in sound? and how much in performance?

yes headers can have an effect on the sound as well as performance. #'s are usually kinda heresay...but I would say, realistically, they are good for about 10-15+ hp (not to the wheels). They will add a little bit of tinniness to your exhaust tone, and can also deepen the sound a bit with the larger 3" collectors. You can also tune your sound some more with an H or X-pipe crossover. The crossovers can actually quiet your ride a little bit, but they are good for some additional hp gains.

Sorry last last question lol.

So if i threw 3" headers on the car and new pipes should i still stick with the Magnaflows?? I'm assuming yes cause of the engine power.

more or less....i'd be curious to know what the tubing I.D. is on that shelby though...it sounds like it has smaller 2 1/4" tubing...usually with 2 1/2" or 3" piping through the center of the exhaust system, the tone is a little deeper than that (could just be the recording quality tho).

and fastback....as far as staying with magnaflows...unless you're planning on a cam and some more engine mods, I would stick with the magnaflows for now...even if you get headers....you'll be happy with them.
