My windshield wipers recently went out. I was replacing the instrument panel on my 67 mustang coupe and I had to remove all of the lights and other wiring. In the process part of the windshield wiper switch fell out (3 position switch). I replaced all of the wiringand installed my guage panel. After doing this the wipers didn't work but the foot pump lever would still actuate the wipers. Then that quit shortly after. I found the piece to the switch after I took the panel off and reassembled the switch. Could the wiper motor be burnt out or is their a fusible link or something else?

 

It is probably the wiper switch assm. since that is what broke in the first place. I also broke my wiper switch and my windshield wipers worked before I did that. I still haven't fixed it yet.

 

I have tried to locate a new switch and I'm not having much luck. Any help on Locating a wiper switch for a 67 mustang would be great. Thanks for your input. Classic Mustangs rock.

 

I searched mustangdepot, NPD, and cjponyparts and couldn't find a switch for 67. They have them for all but 67-68, weird.

 

That's exactly what I have ran into. I have looked at least 20 websites and none of them have the 67-68. I think I'm just out of luck.

 

You could try some boneyards around the states. I'm sure there has to be one out there.
