JC Whitney doesn't have my year and I searched the Pep Boys sight and came up blank... Guess I'm stuck with my Asbestos tube....

I put my own headers on my 302 70. I was a little nervous about the bolts too. Did basically what jes72 did - hit with pb blaster over a few day period. tapped the bolts after applying each time. Also, tip I got which I did was turn to tightend slightly before backing out. In any case no problems. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to give it a try after 2-3 days of PB Blasting them.

You have to use a decent socket wrench, and not a chinese made piece of crap. Soak the bolts with PB Blaster, then let them stand for a day or two. Soak them again with PB Blaster, and heat them with a butane torch. Let them set another few days. Hit them again with PB Blaster and the torch again, them after a few hours put your socket on the bolt and gently try to break it loose. Once it breaks loose from the bolt head to manifold, then you just rock the bolt back and forth; coming out a turn, then back in a turn, then back out another turn, use some more pb, then repeat the above process until the bolt is free from the block. Been there, done that.
