when I once owned a chevy, I know heresy, the Carter seemed a bit smoother running than the Edelbrock I put on later. This time around, I am going with the 4-barrel autolite and a Weind (wish Weind had the endurashine finish though)

Really not a problem with a carter carb. Its the Edelbrock ones I have a problem with.. My brother is a Mopar nut, and he loves them carters on his 340s and 360s. He is a little off center though.
