Default Oiling Air Tools

okay i dont really have much experience with air tools and was wondering how you oil the ones that dont have the little "oil" holes with a screw in it like my impact wrench...?

i have an oiler and air filter on the wall that i havent started using yet....do i just fill that thing with oil and let her rip? if i was to use it for spraying something does that get into the stuff being sprayed?

I would just put a couple drops of oil down the air inlet coupling (where it hooks to the hose) every once in a while, you really dont need much

as for the painting question, you dont want to use the oiler with a spray gum because it will get in the paint and you will have a mess my friend

Maybe I am lucky but i have had my compressor and air tools for 7-8 years. I use them almost everyday and have never oiled them...

You oil via the inlet vents, just a few drops or it will blow out the exhaust all over you.

I give mine a few drops every day, RELIGIOUSLY. You wouldnt run your engine without oil, so why run your air tools without it? Granted air tools arent under quite the same load as an engine, but the same theory applies. Occasionally Ive had to borrow someone elses air tool of some kind, and if they dont oil it, I would oil it for them and it always worked better. This is especially true when there is a lot of water in the lines.
