Default is there a piece that....

connects at the bottom of the bellhousing? while under my engine earlier i noticed i could see the bottom of the flywheel. but i have a bellhousing, what am i missing? my dad said probably some kind of plate to cover it

Mine was gone too, i found one at a swap meet for a few bucks. Then i wire wheeled it, rustoleumed it black and threw it on! Just make sure u know what shape/bolt pattern is for a C4/ C6 or whatever trans you have, because they are different! -Jon

Yes you can even get a nice chrome piece that you'll never see.

lol, a chrome one! good idea, helps catch all of that mud down there. Besides, with that inspection cover off, and that flywheel chopping up rocks/mud... thats got to be a mess in there, mine wasnt but mine barely had any milage on it when i caught it off -Jon

mine has had about 10 miles on it since i bought it

ill buy a piece now and put it on and when i get my tranny worked on ill ask him to take a look
